The Park County Treasurer’s Office is responsible for fiscal management of the county. One of the primary roles of the Treasurer’s office is to receive payment for taxes, filing or other processing fees, such as property taxes or automobile registration.

“A taxpayer is not dependent on us – we are dependent on them.
A taxpayer is not an interruption of our work – they are the purpose of it.
A taxpayer is doing us a favor by letting us serve their needs.
A taxpayer is not an outsider to our business – they are a part of it.
Courtesy and efficiency are the main requirements of this office.”

2017 LICENSE PLATE SERIES

Wyoming issues new plates on all vehicles every eight years.  New plates will be issued upon registration or renewal for any vehicle with a 2018 expiration date.
Customers who already have low plate numbers will have all of 2017 to renew their reserved plates.  If the plates are not renewed by the end of the year, the reserve number will be forfeited.

Below are the reserved plate numbers for Park County:
Passenger:  1-3000
Truck: 1-1500

WYDOT will contact all specialty plate customers three to six months prior to their plate's expiration, reminding them to reapply for the specialty plate.  Most specialty plate customers who reapply in 2017 will have the option to keep their existing plate combination.  (Guard plate numbers will be reassigned based on Rank and Date of Rank; some Veteran Plate numbers with a final alpha, will receive a 5 digit number.)
