Request for Proposal for Park County Wyoming, Powell LIbrary Remodel
Historically Park County has operated the Park County Regional Landfill near Cody during holidays to help facilitate municipally operated waste collection operations. With decreasing revenues, tight budgets, and staffing limitations, the Board of County Commissioners have directed all County department managers (other than critical law enforcement personnel) to cease from working holidays or days which would require payment of overtime wages to employees. For this reason, effective January 1, 2021 and until further notice, all Park County operated waste disposal facilities will not be open and operating during County recognized holidays. For your reference, these holidays include:
New Year's Day | January 1st |
President’s Day | 3rd Monday of February |
Memorial Day | Last Monday of May |
Independence Day | July 4th |
Labor Day | 1st Monday of September |
Columbus Day | 2nd Monday of October |
Veterans’ Day | November 11th |
Thanksgiving Day (2 days) | 4th Thursday and Friday of November |
Christmas Eve (4 hours) | December 24th (only if holiday falls on Mon-Fri) |
Christmas Day | December 25th |
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or if you need further clarification.
Sincerely,
